The safety of our students, instructors, and community is our greatest concern. We have implemented defined safety and cleaning practices to help minimize the spread of COVID-19, as recommended by the CDC and Yoga Alliance.

 

Onyx Yoga reopened for in-studio classes on Monday, June 15, 2020. Please read the following information carefully before attending class.

Health Reminders
  • Please DO NOT come to class if you are ill or experiencing any of the following symptons (as outlined by the CDC):

    • Cough​

    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

    • Or at least two of these symptoms:

    • Fever

    • Chills

    • Repeated shaking with chills

    • Muscle pain

    • Headache

    • Sore throat

    • New loss of taste or smell

  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come in contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to the studio for 10 days or until you test negative for COVID-19.

  • If someone in your house is sick, please stay home.

  • Please refrain from contact with other yogis while in the shared space. 

  • Hands-on assists will not be utilized at this time.

  • Instructors will be asked not to teach if they are ill so check emails and social media to watch for potential cancellations.

  • Our guidelines support protecting yogis as well as our instructors. Out of respect for others please limit the surfaces you touch and maintain a social distance when inside the studio.

  • We will maintain a strict cleaning guideline including cleaning floors and frequently touched surfaces often.

Pricing and Schedule
  • Credit/Debit/Gift card transactions accepted. No checks accepted at this time. 

  • Please refer to the Rates and Packages page of the website for current pricing and pass options. 

  • The current class schedule can be found on the ​Schedule page of the website or in our studio app ScheduleBliss.

Signing Up For Class
  • Please sign up for class on ScheduleBliss no later than 2 hours in advance. 

  • We will review class attendance and may cancel a class if one or less yogis are signed up 2 hours prior to class start time same day for evening classes (9pm the evening prior for morning classes).

  • Class sizes are no longer limited, with the exception of Yin Yoga (limit of 12), but we do ask that you try to maintain a comfortable spacing between yogis.

  • Cancellations must occur at least 2 hours prior to class start time or you will be charged one class pass for classes with capacity limits (Unlimited Memberships may be subject to suspension from late cancellations). Please cancel your reservation in ScheduleBliss.

Attending Class
  • Do a temperature self check and symptom assessment prior to coming to class.

  • Bring your own mat, towel, and water. Community props (blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets) will be available. The instructor will make props available for you at the beginning of class. At the end of class, please leave the props next to your mat space so the instructor can clean and sanitize them. Please limit the items you bring in to only yoga required items.

  • We encourage you to regularly clean/sanitize your mat at home.

  • Entering the studio:

    •  Please stagger your entry to avoid congestion in the front of the studio. Masks are welcome in the studio but are not required.

  • Exiting the studio: 

    • At the end of class, please coordinate a staggered exit to avoid congestion at the front of the studio.
